Future-Proof with LAGO TANA 6.12
LAGO TANA 6.12 brings the platform up to the latest technological standards. At the same time, new monitoring and diagnostic functions ensure even greater stability and operational reliability.
PIM: Greater Efficiency in Day-to-Day Work
New features simplify working with documents and search folders and create greater transparency in product data management.
Whiteboard: Better Planning, Fewer Mistakes
Whiteboard will now support users with smarter default settings and additional validation mechanisms for even higher data quality.
LAGO API: More Opportunities for Automation
New API functions expand integration capabilities and facilitate the automation of administrative processes.

Highlights |
General
- Key components of LAGO have been updated. Among other changes, starting with LAGO TANA 6.12, the use of Java 25 and Tomcat 11 is supported and required. Please contact your Comosoft representative(s) if you are planning an update.
- On LAGO startup the permissions to access relevant database tables are verified. If misconfiguration is detected the login view will inform about this.
- The processing option for the outdated asset formats FLA and FLV have been removed from LAGO.
- With two new settings in the central configuration a memory watch guard can be activated:
LAGO / Admin / MemoryUsageThresholdPercent
LAGO / Admin / MemoryAlertEmails
The first value defines a threshold for the memory consumption in percent. The second settings allows to define a recipients list.
An email will be sent if the threshold is reached and with every 10% increase.
PIM
- In PIM it is now possible to open a document from the document list in InDesign. For this, the functionality which was already available in Whiteboard has been migrated. The button can be shown or hidden via the Workspace configuration.
- In PIM, you can now create and use hierarchical search folders. They function exactly the same way as in LAGO Explorer.
- In PIM, the import key of article types will be shown in the list and bridge if the following entry is set in the Central Configuration:
LAGO / Articles / ShowImportKeyWithName = y (Default: n)
Whiteboard
- It is now possible to display article properties in the article search result. Analog to element properties, this is being configured in the central configuration.
- Administrators can now define a default element type for each project type, which is automatically used in Whiteboard when creating elements from articles.
This prevents incorrect assignments and improves the quality of planning in Whiteboard workflows. - If the central configuration setting “LAGO / Prelayout / ConfirmOnAdditionalArticleAssignment” is enabled, a confirmation dialog appears as soon as the user attempts to assign another article in Whiteboard to an element that already has an article assigned to it.
LAGO API
- The LAGO API now supports CRUD for asset keywords.
- A new API endpoint for bulk operations allows to delete articles along with their associated elements.
